“This better not awaken anything in me…”
I’ve never been into MLP. But when I saw they released the original 6, the nostalgic value for me fell into the ‘Retro Toys’ series which I enjoy collecting. I’ve had tons of friends and family members own MLP toys as a kid, and these look exactly like the solid plastic ponies I gotten use to seeing lying around bedroom floors. The simple bow and hair keeps them looking cute without getting ridiculous (like future MLP characters). And the unique symbols on their butts have such a Care Bears chest symbol feeling. In fact, due to the bright colorful nature of the ponies, I have them sitting next to my Care Bear funkos. Just feels right to have the brightest characters of all time hanging out together :)
