Tokyo Ghoul

Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written by Sui Ishida. Set in an alternate reality where ghouls live amongst the human population in secrecy. Ghouls have powers such as super-strength and regenrative abilities and a regular ghoul produces 4-7 times more kinetic energy in their muscles than a normal human. The story follows Ken Kaneki who becomes a half-ghoul through an encounter with Rize Kamishoro and thus he must consume human flesh to survive like other ghouls.
